What FPV Drone Battery?

This is a "live" page where updates are made as our users send us videos and updates on what they have been able to accomplish with different batteries

What do the battery colors mean?

"Red" batteries are best suited for acceleration, high current, good flight time, and faster charge rates:

Acrobatic flight: When you'd like to perform 3d flight, power loops, and accelerate quickly

Large payload flight: When operating a delivery drone, payload carrying drone, or other load which requires substantial power to operate the drone

Small battery: When trying to minimize the size of the battery, the red series can output more current relative to the size of the aircraft, allowing small batteries to operate larger aircraft, however with short flight times

"Green" batteries are best suited for long range, low current, and minimal altitude changes at a slow to moderate flight speed:

Long range: When flying a long range aircraft, green batteries will provide the most capacity per weight, allowing you to reach distances no other battery can provide

Small to Medium payload: When flying with small to medium payloads, a green battery will allow the aircraft to travel the furthest. Such a payload is a camera, water bottle, etc

Fixed Wing: Most fixed wing aircraft should use our green batteries for all around good flight performance

"Purple" batteries are similar to the "Red" batteries, providing more value, good current, however with less flight time

What battery is best for my size of drone?

4" Drone: Smaller 4" drones are best used with our 18650 cell size 4s batteries

5-6" Drone: Medium size 5-6" drones are best suited to use our 18650 or 21700 6s batteries

7-8" Drone: Larger 7-8" drones are best suited to use our 18650 6s2p, 21700 6s1p, or 21700 6s2p packs

10-12" Drone: Large 10-12" drones are best suited for our 21700 6s2p, 18650 6s3p, 21700 6s3p, or 18650 6s4p batteries. The drones can typically carry vary large batteries
